Thank you to all who support Bergen Catholic! Our Annual Campaign begins each year on July 1st.
We are counting on your support again this year. All gifts make an impact! Please click on the link below to make your gift today. We thank you for your support.
What is The Crusader Fund?
The Crusader Fund, formerly known as the Annual Fund, is Bergen Catholic’s program of unrestricted giving. Our campaign begins every year on July 1st, and runs through the following June 30th.
Rarely does generosity have such a powerful and immediate impact on the lives of others. The unrestricted nature of the Crusader Fund ensures that the gifts are immediately available where they are most urgently needed. Your annual or recurring gift to the Crusader Fund exemplifies a shared dedication to the student experience and helps to make everyday at Bergen Catholic EXTRAORDINARY.
This important, collective effort is critical to Bergen Catholic’s sustainability and it allows us to bring the vision and mission of our Christian Brothers school to life.
Please help us surpass our 2023-2024 goal.
Your Gift Impact
Instruction, Academic Support, and Student Services:
Tuition and fees account for only a portion of Bergen Catholic’s annual budget. The Crusader Fund provides faculty and staff with the tools and technology necessary for students to learn at the highest level, inside and outside of the classroom. Partnerships with Zoom’s ClassEDU and The Princeton Review® are a few examples of how your gifts help BC continue to lead in online and in-person learning.
Extracurricular Student Life:
The Crusader Fund provides resources to support and grow our 40+ clubs and activities from student government, BCTV and other student media organizations, to the performing arts, service, and cultural opportunities. It also enhances our academic and science clubs which are all essential aspects of the Bergen Catholic experience.
86% of Bergen Catholic students rely on financial or merit aid. Sustainable assistance for talented students is a top priority in our Brotherhood. When financial aid is enhanced, Bergen Catholic solidifies its commitment to academic excellence, opportunity creation, and leadership development.
Faculty and Institutional Support:
Even the smallest donation to The Crusader Fund makes it possible for us to provide the wide range of services and support necessary to keep Bergen Catholic operating at its fullest potential. Your annual gift allows us to attract, develop and retain the best and brightest faculty and staff. It also allows us to address critical improvements and repairs to our school facilities and grounds.
Why is 100% Participation so Important?
The Crusader alumni tradition of generosity and pride in itself is selfless. When you combine the ability to increase the participation rate every year, you instill the power to fortify opportunity. Just as others generously invested in your time at Bergen Catholic, it is imperative that we continue the tradition of creating an even greater future for those who come after us.
Current School Community:
Bergen Catholic seeks 100% participation from the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and current families. Parent participation in our Crusader Fund makes an enormous impact on each child’s experience and symbolizes the shared investment in our learning community.
Consistency is Key:
This year, we urge you to make your Crusader Fund gift a recurring one. A recurring gift demonstrates your strong belief in the value of a Bergen Catholic education.
Corporate Gift Matching:
Does your employer or company participate in a matching gift program? A matching gift is a charitable donation by a corporation that matches an employee’s donation to Bergen Catholic. Matching gifts are a powerful way to increase your donation to BC, as we are an eligible nonprofit organization.
When you donate to the Crusader Fund, you help us continue to be a leading Catholic High School in the Edmund Rice Christian Brother tradition.
Thank you for your continued support!
